Another boat trip with the Carroll clan

Weather:  Sunny, hot, calm, mid-90s
Highlights: Took the Carroll clan out on the boat this morning for a copule of hours to give them a flavor of what we experience every day.  Had a small scare when we ran aground on a rock pile while letting a big trawler pass us  (depth guage showed 12 feet!).  Took a bit of jockeying to get off, but we managed with no damage, and trip was otherwise uneventful.  Back to the marina by 1PM, then napped and hung out by the pool for a while. Borrowed the car before dinner and did a WalMart provisioning run (food plus boat supplies), then back to the boat for a dinner of rotisserie chicken and sides.  TV and reading before turning in for our last night in Myrtle Beach - it's been a good week!
