Current Location: Ponce Harbor Anchorage, Puerto Rico
Miles Traveled: 19 Weather: Mostly sunny, windy (15-20 knots), mid-80s Highlights: Slept in and relaxed most of the morning, finally raising anchor around 10:30AM to begin the last leg of our crossing. We had 15-20 knot winds right on the nose, and fairly sloppy seas, but fortunately only had to motor-sail about 20 miles total today. Pulled into Ponce around 3PM, dropped anchor just outside the harbor off a small beach, and then did an easy clear-in through customs using the CBP-ROAM mobile app. No fees, no shore visit, no official visit to our boat - easy peazy! Relaxed rest of the afternoon, then Amy fixed the last of the mahi-mahi filets for dinner, served with veggies and baked pickled potatoes. Guess it's time to break out the fishing gear again and catch another mahi-mahi - definitely our favorite fish! Watched the Prez address tonight on the single english-speaking station (NBC) that we get here, then turned in for the night.
