EOD Location: Chatham Bay Anchorage, Union Island, SVG
Miles Traveled: 4 Weather: Mostly sunny, breezy (10-15), low-80s Highlights: Defrosted the fridge this morning, then went into Clifton to explore and get some lunch. The town is quite small, almost no cars on the streets, and folks are very friendly. Many businesses were closed, but a couple of small produce markets were open, so we picked up a few provisions. Had pizza for lunch at the same restaurant as yesterday (Bougainvilla), then back to the boat around 2PM. Cast off the mooring lines and motor-sailed about 4 miles around the southwest side of the island to Chatham Bay, and dropped anchor around 3PM. Took a couple of attempts to get the anchor to set (Dennis was in the water helping us find a good spot), but finally found some sand that was thick enough to grab the anchor and hold for us. Napped and relaxed rest of the day - looking forward to some snorkeling and exploring over the next few days.
