Current Location: Soper's Hole Anchorage, Tortola, BVI
Miles Traveled: 10 Weather: Mostly cloudy, showers, windy (20-25 knots), mid-70s Highlights: Saw Karen and Steve off after breakfast, then did a couple loads of laundry, defrosted the fridge, and squared away the boat before our noon checkout time. Left the marina around 12:30, and motored into strong headwinds over to Soper's Hole, picking up a mooring ball around 3:30PM. We're scheduled to be in Road Town on Friday morning to have our generator fixed, so thought we should clear in to the BVIs early. Soper's Hole is a deep, sheltered bay, surrounded by steep hills and a sleepy town, but was hard hit by Irma, and we still see lot's of damage needing repairs. We grabbed a nap before dinner of mac and cheese, then relaxed and read the rest of the evening, turning in early for a good night's sleep.
