EOD Location: Sandy Island Mooring, Carriacou, Grenada
Miles Traveled: 34 Weather: Mostly sunny, breezy (12-18), occasional brief showers, low-80s Highlights: We dropped our mooring ball at 9AM this morning, raised sails, and had a very nice motor-sail with XYZZY up the coast and across to Carriacou. We had about 15 knots of steady wind at 45 degrees off our starboard bow most of the trip, so ran one engine to keep our course steady. Our cat needs at least 55 degrees before she can sail without engine assistance, and that just wasn't going to happen today. We averaged over 6 knots with very light seas, and arrived at Sandy Island around 2:30. Picked up one of the last balls in the field off the island, while XYZZY grabbed a ball off Paradise Beach. Got the boat squared away, then napped and relaxed the rest of the afternoon. Egg omelet with salad tonight for dinner, FaceTimed with Jennifer for awhile, then reading and games before turning in for the night.
