Current Location: Harborwalk Marina (ICW MM 408), Georgetown, SC
Miles Traveled: 0 Weather: Mostly sunny, calm, high-80s Highlights: Woke up this morning around 6:45 to a couple of shrieks, then a big thump that shook the boat. Scrambled outside to find the boat that had been docked in front of us sliding down the side of our boat. Found out after getting them back to the dock that they had forgotten to untie their stern dockline, and as they pulled away, the line swung them around 180 degrees and into our port bow. He cut the line, but they left a pretty good gash in our fiberglass. Fortunately, they have good insurance (BoatUS), and we've filed a claim and started the process to get it fixed. Rest of day was pretty uneventful - watched the French Open, read and napped, and Amy made bread and then walked around some of the shops downtown while Terry washed down the boat. Dinner tonight was sweet and sour pork over rice. After dinner, we walked downtown for some ice cream, then back to the boat for some light TV, reading, and off to bed.
